The overall look of the cologne bottle was not enough however, the bottle design had to harness and push the capabilities of 3D printing. To achieve this difference, I looked at possible mechanisms which could be implement into the design to make it more interactive. This was achieved by having the middle component of the cologne bottle being able to spin. To explain it simply, if you imagine the barrel of a revolver and it is able to spin, the center part of the cologne bottle simulates the same movement.
The idea for this cologne bottle, would be for this interactive motion to be connected to the spray of the cologne itself. If the user picks up the bottle and spins it, this starts the mechanism allowing it to go through a few rotations before it stopped and sprayed the cologne onto the individual.
